专家们说没有充足的证据能证明饮用咖啡会增加患癌症的风险，从而降低了咖啡致癌的风险级别。过去，有专家曾指出咖啡和膀胱癌之间有所关联，但其实并没有足够的证据来证明咖啡到底是否是“致癌物质”。以下是 Adam Brimelow 的报道。

The decision to reclassify coffee was taken after a review of more than a thousand studies carried out by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.

It runs a register of environmental causes of cancer which runs from Group 1, where the evidence is convincing, to Group 4, where there's no risk.

Since 1991, coffee has been in category 2B reflecting a possible link to cancer. Now it's switched to category 3, which means there no conclusive evidence of a cancer risk.

The review concludes very hot beverages probably do cause cancer. Experts have urgedpeople to let their drinks cool down for a few minutes.

'最思辨(the most critical thinking-oriented)'：江苏卷的'话长话短'。题干中称，俗话说(as the saying goes)，有话则长，无话则短(if you have a point to make, go ahead and talk as long as you need to; otherwise, make it short.)。有人却说，有话则短，无话则长——别人已说的我不必再说，别人无话可说处我也许有话要说，有时这是个性的彰显(reveal personalities)，有时则是创新意识的闪现(a flash of innovative ideas)。不少网友表示，感觉材料与题目前后逻辑联系不强(be logically inconsistent)，彰显个性和提倡创新之间既不是对立(adversarial)也不是包含或递进关系(inclusive or progressive relationship)，'这题目好难做'。

'最接地气'：上海卷的'评价他人的生活(make judgment on others' lives)'。题中说，评价他人生活变得越来越常见，这些评价对个人和社会的影响也越来越大，人们对'评价他人的生活'这种现象的看法不尽相同(opinions are diversified on such a phenomenon)。对于这个题目，很多网友表示，每个考生都有题目所需的素材(writing materials)，还能在作文中体现出个人的价值观和人生态度(values and life attitude)。
