电力设备检测的SCADA系统硬件配置，通常SCADA系统分为两个层面，即检测中心检测终端/电力设备厂检测终端的体系结构。电力设备厂终端与硬件设备通信，进行数据处理

和运算。而检测中心终端用于人机交互，如用文字、数据显示现场的状态，并可以对现场的开关、按健进行操作。还有一种“超远程客户”，它可以通过Web发布在Internet上进行监控。终端设备(如PC机)一般既可以通过点到点方式连接，也可以以总线方式连接到终端上。点到点连接一般通过wifi，以太网等连接方式。中心检测终端是进行电力设备检测管理的硬件设备；由检测管理PC机、网络端和人机交互组成。

电力设备厂检测SCADA系统功能：

数据采集—数字、模拟和手工；

数据处理—  检测数据分析和计祘；

数据管理 —   秒传，同步和异步；

检测评估处理—  标准、资料和检测数据；

检测审批处理  校验、审核和批准。

一个或多个机器上的服务终端负责数据采集，数据处理（如量程转换、滤波、报警检查、计算、事件记录、历史存储等）。服务终端间可以相互通讯。有些系统将服务器终端进一步单独划分成若干专门服务终端，如试验服务终端，记录服务终端，历史服务终端等。各服务终端逻辑上作为统一整体，但物理上可能放置在不同的地域上。分类划分的好处是可以将多个服务终端的各种数据统一管理、分工协作，缺点是效率低，局部故障可能影响整个系统。
