IRIS内置旋转检测系统（IRIS）探头非常适合于石油化工和核电厂配套设施（BOP）的管道检测。这些探头以螺旋扫查的方式使用超声波对管道的内壁进行扫查，这样可以保证检测到管体的整个长度。
  IRIS探头使用脉冲回波模式，测量壁厚、材料减薄情况，并探测出内径在0.5英寸到3英寸之间的缺陷方向。
