[导读] 通用电气公司正在扩充其在欧洲的势力，目的是要为欧洲客户和开发商促进在工业物联网业务上的创新和合作。新的“数字芯片厂”总部将设在巴黎，创造250个就业机会，此为通用电气为加大旗下的工业工具在欧洲的力度和对合作伙伴的支持计划的一部分。

 通用电气公司正在扩充其在欧洲的势力，目的是要为欧洲客户和开发商促进在工业物联网业务上的创新和合作。

新的“数字芯片厂”总部将设在巴黎，创造250个就业机会，此为通用电气为加大旗下的工业工具在欧洲的力度和对合作伙伴的支持计划的一部分。 

通用电气公司董事长兼首席执行官Jeff Immelt 表示，“欧洲拥有人才和基础设施，在生产力革命方面有先机，数字化工业即为该使命的核心。通用电气公司致力于帮助欧洲发展自己的工业互联网所需的基础构件，工业互联网将有助于欧洲大陆公司将信息转化为洞察，继而将洞察转化为结果。”

除了巴黎芯片厂外，在通用电气计划里今年另有三家开张，每一家芯片厂都是为了催生当地的初创公司，为了其与通用电气客户的合作开发新的应用提供一个环境，在工业互联网的开发中能用上通用电气公司的Predix操作系统。

目前有11000家开发商使用该平台，通用电气希望其在国际上影响力增加后，更多的人将加入到为该软件打造应用的行列里，目前诸如Capgemini和苏格兰电力公司都在使用该软件。苏格兰电力公司的智能电网项目用了由通用电气提供得数字控制系统。

Immelt 表示：“自从我们推出通用电气数字业务和发布Predix操作系统以来，有近11000家的开发商投在我们门下，100多个的应用程序得到客户的广泛采用。通用电气的内部人士都知道，我们推动的是5亿美元的生产力。现在是时候了，业界是时候改变了，是推动他们自身业务的长期价值的时候了。”

在巴黎芯片厂开张的同时，通用电气还与法国政府机构和NUMA建立了伙伴关系。NUMA是法国第一个创业加速器，目标是确认和培养有潜力的创新点子。

NUMA首席执行官Marie-Vorgan Le Barzic表示：“通用电气公司将欧洲总部设在巴黎，这是一个大好的机会，我们将与通用电气公司的数字芯片厂紧密合作，以期创造并建立一个围绕工业互联网的创新生态系统。我们有信心，我们可以建立一个拥有初创公司、数据科学家、开发商和软件专家的强大社区，为复杂的工业挑战提供各种解决方案。”
