永凝液是由英语：Deep Penetrating Sealer翻译而来，意为“深层渗透密封材料”。是一种无色、无味、无毒及化学稳定的环保型高科技防水抗渗新技术，这种技术源自美国军方，产品研制起始于二十世纪初，以其密封性能好、加固性能优越、施工快捷而应用于二战期间盟军工程，至今绝大多数使用过DPS产品的道路工程、海港建设及海防设施均保养得相当良好。经过不断的技术升级，DPS的性能不断提高，其卓越的使用功能被越来越多应用于世界重大工程中，目前依然是美国应用量大的防水工程材料之一。
    德立兴永凝液是一种革命性的新型防水产品，适用于所有的混凝土建筑，施工简便，综合造价低。只需要喷、涂于混凝土的表面后，DPS会通过混凝土毛细孔道渗透入混凝土内部20-30mm，与混凝土中的游离碱类物质在催化剂作用下产生化学反应，偶联生成不溶于水的凝胶体（晶体状），这些凝胶体堵塞混凝土内部孔隙，封闭毛细孔通道，成为混凝土整体结构的一部分，增强混凝土的密度和硬度，使混凝土具有防霉、抗风化防酸碱侵蚀、防水、防磨损等作用。德立兴DPS永凝液还具有自我修复的能力，一旦结构产生新的裂缝，能自我修复封闭裂缝产生的新的孔道。
